Walla Walla Community College Awarded Grant for Net Zero Energy Home

Walla Walla Community College (WWCC) was awarded a new $1.2 million grant, which will allow for the construction of a Net Zero Energy home on campus. The home will be constructed by WWCC’s newly invigorated Carpentry program with assistance from the renowned Energy Systems program.

The funding is part of the Trade Adjustment Assistance Community College and Career Training (TAACCCT) competitive grant program, which is co-administered by the Department of Labor and Department of Education.
