Empire Airlines Nominated to Idaho Hall of Fame

Culinary Tourism: How to Develop Your Taste of Place

Learn how to develop your taste of place at the Inland Northwest Partners 2016 Fall Meeting, which will focus on culinary tourism. The event takes place on Thursday Sept. 15 from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Lindsay Creek Vineyards in Lewiston, ID.

Rebecca Mackenzie, executive director of the Culinary Tourism Alliance in Toronto, Ontario, will keynote the event and discuss, "Food Tourism 101: Key Strategies, Market Readiness & the Importance of Partnerships" and "The Anatomy of a Foodie: Characteristics, Behaviors, Marketing Trends & Techniques."

The event will also feature regional experts sharing best practices for culinary tourism.
